Agility is a great class for the dog who has tons of energy to burn, or for the shy dog who needs to build confidence. The safety of the dogs on equipment is stressed in class. Most students in this class have no desire to compete in agility trials - they just want to have fun with their dogs. All obstacles will be used, some at half the regulation height, and dogs are never "forced" to take any obstacle. Some clicker. All on leash.
Class cost is $85.00

RALLY OBEDIENCE
What is Rally? Rally Obedience is the newest dog sport in which a dog and handler team complete a course of designated stations. Each station has a sign giving instructions as to what exercise is to be performed. Rally was designed with the "pet owner" in mind, but it can be very challenging for those that enjoy higher levels of competition. Rally offers the team of dog and handler an experience that is both fun and energizing. In this class we will discuss the rules of Rally and run practice sourses of varying complexity.
Clicker training is a relatively new method of operant training. You will learn how to use the clicker to make your dog think about what he is doing. It is a very effective method similar to the methods used to train dolphins, Orcas and the majority of all the animals you see on TV and in the movies. This is a fun and very rewarding way of training your dog.
Agility Three classes are for dogs that have taken Agility Two and are familiar with all the equipment. This class will fine tune both dog and handler.
