Many of you have voiced an interest in doing therapy work with your dogs by visiting nursing homes, hospitals, and the like.  There are a couple of nationally recognized organizations that you can join to do this work.  They are Therapy Dogs International (TDI) and the Delta Society.  If you are interested in raising and training a puppy to assist handicapable persons you can contact Canine Companions for Independence.
