Throughout the year the Dog Obedience Group appears at several dog related events. Some of these are fund-raisers for local shelters. For example Putt for Mutts, a fund raiser for Wayside Waifs sponsored by Gail's Harley-Davidson; and DogtoberFest, a fund raiser for Heart of America Humane Society. We also do some just for fun events like the Independence Parks "Dogs in the Park" and we appear in local parades where you might get a free class and some dog treats.
