Giving Back

Jane and Al feel it is important to give back to the canine community, so we annually make donations to canine organizations.  Here are some of them:
2005 - Donated 600+ pounds of dog food to the Independence Animal Shelter
       - Donate money to the ASPCA for Katrina Relief
       - Donated health and school kits for Tsunami Relief (Heart to Heart)
       - Donate money to Morris Animal Foundation for AIHA research
       - Donated money to PAWS to help with Spay/Neuter costs         
2004 - University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine Canine Cardiac Research
2003 - Donation to S.A.R.S (Search And Rescue Service)
2002 - Donations to the following: Tri-County Humane Society, Endecott Children's Fund, Humane Society of Southern Arizona & Morris Animal Foundation-Meisha's Hope Fund #338
         Sponsorships to the following:  Lakewood Animal Health Center "Run for the Dogs",  Jackson County Parks and Recreation "DogtoberFest" & Forever Friends Rescue Group
2001 - Donation to Animal Haven in Merriam, Kansas (local "no-kill" shelter)
2000 - Donation to the National Cocker Spaniel Rescue to help defray vet costs incurred in puppy mill raid.
Donation to the University of Missouri Vet School, Barkley House
1999 - D.O.G. and instructors donated materials and labor to put up a fence for an elderly woman so she could keep her dog at home.  Also donated many hours of training time for her.

Over the years we have also made food donations to local shelters and rescue groups
